The Humanities branch of Darjeeling Government College comprises ten (10) academic departments comprising five (5) linguistic subjects namely Bengali, English, Hindi, Nepali and Tibetan besides five (5) representative social science disciplines namely Economics, History, Geography, Philosophy and Political Science.
