The Central Library of the DGC is renowned for its rich, rare and special collection since its inception. The library has more than 70000 books (excluding 25000 books of seminar libraries) as its core collection, comprises of all subjects being taught in the college along with many rare books related to Himalayan region and its ecology and culture.Total area of the Central Library is 4160 sq. ft.(approx.).which includes a seating capacity of 100 users at a time.
