Physical Education & Sports

The Annual Sports Event commenced with very sporty and a positive note. The event aimed to encourage maximum participation from all students of the college. The committee decided to have a college team selection for various games and sports like football, table tennis, badminton, volleyball, etc. for the year 2022-23.

 

1. Darjeeling Cup Volleyball Tournament organized by Sadar Police Station Darjeeling, 24^thto 26th July 2022 at GDNS Ground, DARJEELING
2. Zero waste  Tournament Jorebunglow 11^th to 25^th September, 2022
3. 10km Marathon , Municipal Boy’s High School, 18^th September, 2022
4. Dr. Gour Ch. Kundu Memorial Inter College  , Badminton  Tournament 2022-23 , 20^th to 21^st October, 2022, NBU
5. S.P Roy Memorial Inter College Table Tennis Tournament 2022, 10^th to 11^th November 2022 , NBU
6. 52^nd  Inter College Athletics Meet 2022, 17^th to 18^th  November 2022, Maynaguri College
7. Inter College Volleyball Tournament 2022, 6^th to 7^th January, 2023
8. West Bengal Inter College State Sports and Games Championship – Athletics ( Men and Women) 2022-2023, 13^th February, 2023, Jointly hosted by Darjeeling Government College and Southfield College
9. West Bengal Inter College State Sports and Games Championship – Football (Men) 2022-23, 11^th to 12^th February, 2023, jointly hosted by Darjeeling Government College and Southfield College  
10. Inter College State Games and Sports Championship , 2022-2023,11^th to 13^th March 2023, Salt Lake Stadium  Kolkata
11. 3^rd Open Athletics Meet organized by Drishti Khel Kudh Sangh  31^st April and 1^st May  ( Men and Women)
